Bobby Norfleet Racing, (BNR) announced today the appointment of New Dimensions in Marketing (NDIM) www.newdimensionsinmarketing.com , as their official marketing agency. BNR is in the business of professional racing, brand and entertainment licensing, and celebrity driven motorsports events targeted to the urban culture. The company is in the process of launching an Annual Celebrity Cup Race Series that will feature the top celebrity artists from the urban / hip hop culture as drivers, guest artists and performers in an all day music and race extravaganza that will take place in six key markets.
“We are very fortunate to have New Dimensions as our marketing partner,” stated Bobby Norfleet, Veteran Racecar Driver and founder. “They bring an integrative approach to our business model that an event of this size requires.” The race will feature 15 identically prepared racecars in 50 – 100 lap races. Celebrities will be competing for the Series Cup and bragging rights until the next event.
“From children's fun zones, to contests, concerts, corporate villages and auto racing, the Annual Celebrity Cup Race Series has been designed as an integrated lifestyle event that will place the event sponsored brands squarely in front of this significant demographic, linking their name with a memorable experience,” stated Sheryl Perez, president and founder, New Dimensions in Marketing.
The series is expected to kick off the last weekend in March, 2007 in Atlanta, wrapping up the first weekend in November in it's originating destination. “The Celebrity Cup Race Series will do something that has never been done before,” continued Ms. Perez. “It will bring motorsports to the Urban culture, and the Urban culture to motorsports, something that Bobby Norfleet is uniquely positioned to do as the only driver in motorsports to have the support and endorsement of the Urban community.”
